• A Pre-treatment enhances the end result and provides a more vigorous clean.  Examples of pre-treatments include the application of a cleaning detergent/degreaser to aid in cleaning.  Another possibility is having a surface soft washed prior to cleaning which is beneficial when microorganisms such as Moss and Algae present.

• A Post-treatment also enhances the end result but could include a treatment to increase the longevity of keeping problematic organisms at bay like Moss, Algae & Lichen. Sealing a solid surface forms a breathable barrier against contaminants without affecting the surface colour. This process makes ongoing cleaning and removal of stains and markings much easier than when there is no sealing barrier.
